AFR is reviving itspopular 220cc moniker due tooverwhelming request fromcustomers for a larger bolton standard valve locationhead. Unlike the previous220, the new Eliminatorversion requires no specialparts. Valves and studs arein stock GM L98 locationsjust like the popular, 180,195, and 210 series heads.They do not require offsetrockers of any kind yet arestill able to muster flownumbers that are in raisedrunner head territory. A 325CFM head that is perfect forsomeone wanting to retain alltheir standard componentswhile still having theairflow to reach that elusive700 HP mark in aggressivedrag race trim. Displacementranging from a high RPM 350to a 427 CID with naturalapplications in the varioussportsman classes,bracket/drag cars, ovaltrack, and largerdisplacement street machineswith typical operating rangesbetween 4000 to 8000 RPMnding on application. Gettingthis much flow from a stockgeometry 23 head meansthey will only be availablein fully optimized"competition" CNCporting. As always, they comewith AFR's trademark3/4" thick head deck(ideal for nitrous or blowerapplications). Standardvalves are lightweight 8mm2.100 intake and 1.600exhaust with AFR's hardenedductile iron interlockingseats. Dual valve cover boltpattern is standard. Exhaustport is raised .250 over GML98.
