It has the same geometryas the 227 head and willaccept all the same rockerarms, stud girdles, etc. AFRoffset stud girdles are theonly special parts required.Some applications requireshaft mount rockers or .050offset intake rocker arm fordurability and reliability ofvalve train components.Standard rocker arms can beused but the intake rockerarm will be at a slight angleand the roller tip will notbe perfectly centered on thevalve. It will feature alarger 2.125 diameter intakevalve. Exhaust valve diameterstays the same with a littlemore flow from its largerrunner volume. The big newsis our all new intake portdesign which pushes thisstandard location intake portover 335 CFM's! That's18 territory and thishead should be able togenerate power figures thatrival those heads (725+ HP).
