At Rolan, we’re pleased to provide a full range of TurboSmart high-performance products for motorsport and car enthusiasts. 

As you can imagine, this includes an extensive range of pressure regulators, wastegates, boost controllers, and filters. We also have mounting brackets and reinforced vacuum hoses.

Then there is the range of blow-off valves and gauges. Also included in our range are a wide range of inner springs for different vehicles as well as vee bands to suit the various wastegate units.

TurboSmart Wastegate, Controllers, Blow-off Valves & Gauges

When it comes to high-performance products, we stock all of TurboSmart’s wastegates, controllers, blow-off valves, and gauges.

TurboSmart Wastegate

The TurboSmart wastegate is designed to control the flow of exhaust gas to the turbine of your turbocharger. By diverting excess exhaust gas away from the turbine, it helps to control the speed of the unit and stops it from spinning too fast.

Ultimately, an effective wastegate will help to protect both your turbocharger and your engine. Inside the actuator is a spring that holds the wastegate shut until the boost pressure exceeds the maximum pressure that has been preset. Once this happens, the spring is compressed and the wastegate opens to let excess exhaust gases through.

TurboSmart Controllers & Gauges

Among our range of controllers are the boost controllers. These units help to regulate the boost pressure of the turbocharger. The more boost pressure or air that moves into your engine, the more power will be created. However, it is important to control the boost pressure so as not to damage your engine by pushing too much air into it. 

Most boost controllers also have a gauge so that you can see exactly what’s going on with your turbocharger.

TurboSmart Blow-Off Valves

A blow-off valve is designed to protect your turbocharger from surging. For example, if you lift off while your turbocharger is still boosting, the airflow is totally diminished but the turbo is still spinning. This can cause damage to the turbo itself and is why you need a blow-off valve.

The valve serves a number of functions. It recirculates all that excess air pressure and recycles it. This helps to balance the pressure and still lets air flow into the turbo.
