Castrol GTX Diesel is a SAE 15W-40 multigrade, diesel engine oil specifically formulated for todays diesel cars, vans and light commercial vehicle engines. Castrol GTX Diesel provides added protection against soot build up, to prevent excessive oil thickening and soot related wear. Castrol GTX Diesel may also be used in gasoline engines where the manufacturer recommends API SJ or earlier specifications. Castrol GTX Diesel is designed for today's diesel car and light commercial vehicle engines. It's more than just oil. It's liquid engineering that provides extra protection against diesel engine problems, like soot and harsh deposits that your engine faces every day. Castrol GTX Diesel 15W-40 is suitable for cars and light commercial vehicles that specify API CH-4 or earlier. Not recommended for vehicles fitted with Diesel Particulate Filters or petrol engines with catalytic converters.
