Castrol Magnatec Diesel 15W-40 is suitable for use in automotive diesel engines where the manufacturer recommends API CF or ACEA A3/B3, A3/B4 or earlier specifications including: TDI, DI, Inter-cooled, Turbo charged engines, Crdi engines that require a 15W-40 lubricant. Castrol MAGNATEC DIESEL 15W-40 is suitable for naturally aspirated, turbocharged and inter-cooled turbocharged engines. Also suitable for direct and indirect injection diesel engines. Not recommended for heavy commercial vehicle application or vehicles fitted with diesel particulate filters.
