This 4" Screw-OnFilter Assembly was designedfor most Big and Small BlockEngine combinations, includingStreet, Dirt and Marine use.This filter also has a singleO-Ring groove for use with aSystem 1 filter. This filteris the best choice formotorsports ran on dirt andother applications where theuser wants to filtermicroscopic and dust particlesout of the oil system. Alsowhere space is limited andbeing light weight isimportant! Oil first flowsthrough the See Through Filterwith a coarse 115 micronscreen which traps all thelarger particles that can beviewed and inspected while themicroscopic particles flowinto the System 1 which has afiner mesh screen. The cleanfiltered oil flows out of thefilter assembly through theoutlet opening back into theengine. A shot of air emptiesthe filter in seconds exposingthe element and filteredparticles without draining orleaking any oil and withoutunbolting or loosening anyfasteners or fittings. Filtersare remotely mounted and canwork on many applicationsincluding diesels. This dualstage filter will extend thelife and flow of thedisposable filter and stillallow visual inspection offiltered particles for engineinspection.
- The 4"Screw-On Filters have 2 Inletand 1 Outlet Port openingsthat are threaded for #12O-Ring Boss - 1-1/16-12 TPIfittings. The Inlet and Outletopenings have been machined to0.625" or 5/8" inside diameterso it will not restrict fluidwhen using #12lines.
- RecommendedSystem 1 is the Billet ProSeries. The Cast System 1 willonly use the outside sealingO-Ring. Must use System 1's GM13/16-16 tpi threadedinsert.
