6" Dry-Sump See ThroughFilter Assembly with #16 Portsand 115 Micron Element, forrunning all weight oils up to70 weight. Designed to bemounted between the Dry-sumpoil pump and the oil tank on a#16 scavenge line. Also forapplications where the oiltank has a flat bottom andrunning 60 or 70 weight oillike a lot of super chargedfunny cars and tractorpullers. Flat bottom unliketapered bottom tanks particleswill settle to the bottom andmay not be sucked through thepressure side of the oil pumpfor inspection. Tapered bottomtanks can run the See Throughfilter on the pressureside.

SeeThrough Oil Filters can beused for many applicationsincluding Racing, Marine,Automotive, Farm, and forIndustrial Hydraulic Systems.These Patented Oil FilterAssemblies allow the user tovisually see oil pumpingthrough the filter, whichhelps to determine thecondition of the oil. When oilis not being pumped throughthe filter it can quicklydrained using an air chuck forfilling tires and compressedair. A hand bicycle pump willalso work. Apply a small shotof air to the air fitting onthe side of the inlet opening.Oil will empty out of theassembly in seconds exposingthe filter element andfiltered particles, even whenfiltering non transparentfluids like dirty oil. The SeeThrough top allows the user tovisually inspect particles andcontaminants that werefiltered out of the system todetermine if they are fromnormal use or from bearingsand other componentsexcessively wearing in theengine or machinery supplyingthe FilterAssembly.

- Filterswith #16 Ports have 2 Inletsand 2 Outlet holes. Inlet andOutlets are threaded for #16O-Ring Boss - 1-5/16-12 TPIfittings. All 4 ports can beused. #16 fittings can go inand out on the same side ofthe filter.
