If you're looking for theultimate lifter to withstandeven the most demandingracing conditions, look nofurther. The COMP Cams EliteRace Lifters feature a hostof advantages over competingrace lifter designs,including an SAE 8620stainless steel alloy bodythat is CNC-machined andREM-finished, SAE 9310 steelalloy wheels that aremicro-polished andmicro-sized and needles thatare made from 52100 bearingsteel and micro-sorted with acontrolled contour profile.

These lifters featurean exclusive body design thatdoes not include an oil band,maximising rigidity andreducing lifter bushing wear.While the construction andbody design make themincredibly strong, the EliteRace Lifters are alsolightweight, with each lifterweighing less than 100 gramsindividually. All lifterbodies are "tall" and willclear both stock andaftermarket .300" tall lifterbores and will properly fiteither 5/16" or 3/8" ballpushrods.

One of themost critical elements ofthis lifter design is thefact that the oversized(.400") axles are pinned andfeature an internal oilpassage for directpressurised oiling to theneedles. And with thispressure fed oiling you getwear-reducing enginelubrication when and whereyou need it the most. The oilactually flows through thecenter and the top of theaxle - directly to theneedles.

For maximumcontrol and durability inhigh-RPM race applications,these lifters also featurecaptured link bars and anexclusive modular pushrodseat design that allows thepushrod insert to be swappedout for centered, left orright offsets. And with ourpatent-pending oil controlthrough the pushrod insert,engine builders can modifythe lifter to meter extra oilto the top as desired.
