COMP Cams offers a completeline of valve seals, from thestock GM O rings to thepositive-stop PTFE seals. Theyare a must to keep unwantedoil from entering thecombustion chamber through theclearance in the valve guides.The O ring seals use thestandard retainer and oilsplash shield. The umbrellaseals are normally used when alarger than stock diameterspring is used. In the case ofa double spring, the positivestop PTFE seals are used. Fortriple-spring applications,use the smaller-diameter Vitonseals.
