Eliminates twisting of the chassis caused by engine torque and ensures that the power gets to the rear wheels. Perfect for performing engine swaps or setting engine back in the chassis for increased weight transfer. Designed so that the front timing cover is not disturbed. Motorplate is a 3 piece Wrap Around design that is stronger than conventional Pontiac motorplates. The pieces consist of a large 1/4 thick 6061-T6 aluminum plate that bolts to the lower 4 holes of the timing cover and has a recess for timing cover timing pointers, a billet aluminum adapter with included hardware bolts to this large aluminum plate, with a smaller aluminum plate that bolts to this adapter so that the motorplate will not interfere with the lower radiator hose or the timing cover. Overall length bolted together is 28 long.
