These Dakota Digital LED gear position indicators are for surface mount applications. The plates are held on by first drilling the holes for the LEDs through the dash and running wire from the LEDs into the dash. When the plates are placed against the dash, they will be held in place by the LEDs. They come available with and without overdrive, in horizontal and vertical mount applications.
