- Multiple deck heights allowfor increased displacementsof up to 468 cubic inches.
- Scalloped outerwater jacket walls improvecoolant flow around thecylinder barrels to preventdetonation, extend enginelife and produce consistentcylinder temperatures.
- Ductile iron front andrear 2 bolt main caps with 4bolt interior main caps. Rearcap uses standard one pieceseal.
- Two mainbearing diameters 302(2.249") or 351C(2.749") allow choice ofsmall or large journalcamshaft.
- Stockcomponents make Dart blocks adirect replacement for mostproduction small blocks.Provisions for stock motormounts, accessory drives,smog pumps, starter brackets,oil pans and pumps.
- Upgraded oiling system has acomplete stock type systemplus a low restrictionpriority main oiling systemwith front and rear externaloil pump feeds.
- Dualcrossovers allow oil flow tobe metered with restrictorsfor roller lifter cams and/orrocker roller arms to reduceoil flow and windage.
- Reinforced head bolt bossesare blind tapped to preventleaks and produce accuratetorque readings. Extra thickdecks prevent head gasketleaks.
- Standardcamshaft and camshaft drivecan be used. Lifter valleyhas bosses for productionhydraulic roller lifters.
