While extendedTeflon/Nylatron wear throughproper lubrication extendssupercharger performancelongevity, the gels abilityto cling to the rotatingrotors and internal parts alsoincreases the efficiency ofthe unit by filling up theclearance between movingparts. It tightens the sealbetween rotor to rotor, andend frame to rotor clearancethus allowing the superchargerto increase efficiency byreducing leak paths. This alsoreduces costs by decreasingtime between overhauls. Thegel lube is not affected bymethanol like manysupercharger lubes, thereforeprovides a better, longerlasting seal.
