Each rod ismulti-stage heat-treated,X-rayed, sonic-tested,magnafluxed, 100 percentmachined and then shot-peenedto stress-relieve the metal.The rods have precision capalignment sleeves topositively locate each rodcap, silicon bronze bushingsfor floating pin models andare available in strokermodels that allow additionalcam-to-rod clearance forlarge stroke combinations.They come standard with190,000 psi rated ARP 8740and 230,000 psi rated ARP2000 rod bolts.
