Electrolube Optically Clear Polyurethane Resin 5kg

UR5640 is an optically clear polyurethane LED resin for potting or encapsulation. Suitable for aesthetic as well as protective application over the top of the luminaire UR5640 offers excellent protection from a variety of environments. Due to the aliphatic chemical nature of the resin chemistry, the cured UR5640 is naturally resistant to the yellowing effects of UV light, making it useful for a range of outdoor applications. UR5640 also shows excellent weather resistance, as well as chemical resistance against a range of chemicals. This enables this clear, though yet flexible resin to be used in a range of applications, both indoor or out.

UR5640 shares similar properties with UR5634 and UR5638 but has a lower viscosity making it easier to pot small or tight units while the cured resin is also harder offering more abrasion resistance.
