FAST engineers teamed upwith airflow specialists atRHS to develop a polymerintake manifold forrectangular port GM LS7engines. Testing on a 500ciLSX engine with LS7 heads anda Big Mouth 102mm ThrottleBody this manifold producedgains of 26 RWHP over thestock intake. The LSXR 102mmIntake Manifold features athree-piece modular designthat allows easy disassemblyand porting. Extensivetesting led to a runnerdesign that is longer andless restrictive and givesthe user the ability toremove individual runnersfrom the manifold formodification. Constructedfrom the same advancedpolymer material as the LSX92mm Intake Manifold, theLSXR offers a host ofbenefits over aluminiumaftermarket intakes,including lighter weight,increased strength andimproved heat dissipatingcharacteristics. While theLSXR features a 102mm airinlet that is perfectlysuited to the FAST Big Mouth102mm Throttle Body, it canalso be used with stock oraftermarket 90mm or 92mmthrottle bodies. Other theuse of factory featuresinclude integrated nitrousbungs and perfect bolt-onfitment that allowsaccessories withoutmodification or clearanceconcerns.
