The MK012 flush mount microphone socket, available in either black or white, offers the ultimate in mounting flexibility. When connected to the radios rear microphone socket via a 5M (LE102) or 8M (LE103) extension lead, the remote microphone socket can be placed almost anywhere in the boat and connected to a second microphone (sold separately).
This option is perfect for larger boats, particularly those with a fly-bridge, as it allows for two separate communication points on the vessel via the same radio. These accessories can also be used in small trailer boats for a convenient and unobtrusive install of the main radio unit with a remote microphone, where space is at a premium.
