WIRE ROPE GREASE is a semi-fluid, lubricating solids containing grease that offers lubrication and
corrosion prevention of wire ropes operating under all conditions. The semi-fluid nature of the
grease allows penetration between the rope strands to provide internal and external protection
against corrosion.
The molybdenum disulphide lubricating solids and other extreme pressure and anti-wear additives
reduce wear between the wire rope strands and on pulleys. Typical application areas include
drag lines, hoists and mobile cranes as well as dockside and ships cranes where enhanced
corrosion protection against salt water attack is required.
