Thestreet/strip transmissioncontains racing componentswhich increase strength,reliability, and torquecapacity. All street/striptransmissions also feature ourmanual/automatic valve bodywhich allows you to selectprecise manual shifting orfullautomatic.
Installation- All linkage, vacuum linesand kickdown mechanisms mustbe connected and properlyadjusted for any automatictransmission to operatecorrectly. We recommend theuse of a Hughes Performancetrans. cooler and deepaluminum oil pan, which has 2to 4 quarts of extra fluidcapacity, with anysevere-duty, street/striptransmission. We alsorecommend the use of a coolerwith the use of any high-stalltorque converterapplication.
