Frames for 180/230/240/250 tires . . 2 in. downtube 1-3/4 in. backbone, 1-3/8 in. thereafter, all DOM steel tubing, mandrel bent Frames come with 38 deg. or 40 deg. neck rake angles, with front leg stretches of 2 in., 4 in. or 8 in. Engineered with a super-strong upper frame design with integral neck webbing that offers unparalleled strength with pleasing asthetics Single downtube merges with lower frame rails in such a way as to continue the frames smooth lines, often overlooked on other frames These Softail-style beauties are delivered complete with billet hidden axle rear section Component kit consists of pivot axle w/flush mount stainless pivot bolts and bearings Frames are set-up with offset already built-in (requires only simple spacing of engine sprocket or pulley, 230-240-250 frames use 1 in. spacing between engine and inner primary cover, 180 frames require no spacing) Integral one-piece trans mounting plate is part of the frame structure, assuring unit construction strength and the best possible alignment Will accept our great-looking oil tanks and of course, our huge selection of one-piece round top fenders. Axles for the 180 tire are 3/4 in. in diameter and the 230-240-250 are 1 in. in diameter Frames accept any 5 or 6-speed Softail-style transmission together with 1-1/2 in. belt on 180/230/240 width tires or 1-1/8 in. belt or chain on 250 width tires
