Effective from January 1st 2015 all new trailers (exceptions apply) need to comply, to ADR38/04 that specifies they have either Anti-Lock Brakes (ABS) or an Electronic, Brake System (EBS) to automatically adjust the brakes. EBS (Electronic Brake System), connectors are used for the electrical connection of the ABS/EBS braking systems between, the truck and trailer for both 12V and 24V electrical systems. Whilst ABS has 5 pins,Suitable for use with both EBS and ABS systems, Fitted with Narvas unique 12/24 volt plugs these coils can be used with both 12 and, 24 systems, as well as connecting multi-voltage trailers to vehicles with non-matching, socket voltages
