Proflow's aluminized LAVA heat barrier is made from woven silica and aluminum mylar nish and can withstand up to 1090 degrees celsius of radiant heat and up to 650 degrees celsius when in direct contact. This shield is capable of reecting 90% of radiant heat. Face the aluminized side toward the source of radiant heat to correctly shield heat away. Used on Firewalls, oor pans, muers, catalytic convertors, DPF, exhaust systems, or even fuel cells.
