The affordable V300SD datarecorder is the most commonrecorder for Pro Stock, ProModified and many of theSportsman classes. In itsbase configuration, the V300monitors six parameters(Engine RPM, Driveshaft RPM,Accel G, Lateral G, BatteryVolts and a 12-volt event),but it can be expanded tomonitor up to 67 channels ofdata to meet the needs ofmost users. The V300SD cansample data as quickly as1000 times per second.
Uploading recorded data toyour computer is done via aSD memory card, whichprovides you with hours ofrecording time and theability to store many runsprior to uploading the data.The V300SD also has multiplemethods of displayingmonitored data in real time.When linked by serial cableto your PC you can view allrecorded functions in eithergraph format or on 8 virtualgauges while the vehicle isrunning. Any monitoredfunction can also bedisplayed in real time onRacepak's optionalIntelli-Gauges or ei ther theX).
DataLinkLite Software:
This is the base program usedwith all Racepak datarecorders. In addition to thereal time and recordedfunctions provided by FileViewer you gain the abilityto overlay multiple runssimultaneously on thecomputer screen. DataLinkLite provides an expandedlogbook for monitoring yourvehicle, run, and weatherdata. A typical downloadedDataLink Lite screen view (asshown above) contains threepanels. The top panelcontains the file tabs andchannel buttons for selectingthe functions you wish todisplay on the screen.Alongside each channel buttonthere is a display of thenumeric value of the channelcoinciding with the screencursor location. In thecentre panel is the graphdisplay. These graphs aredisplayed with a timelineacross the bottom and thescale value along the leftedge.
