The latestgeneration Strange cartridgeis externally adjustable andthe piston is located belowthe spindle- allowing forlonger stroke, less stressand increased stability atfull extension. The lighterconstruction of the strutallows for weight savings,while maintaining anunmatched integral strength.The aluminum steering armpermits an ideal trapezoidlinkage to create theAckerman geometry. When thewheels steer left or right,the asymmetry in the geometrycauses the inside wheel tosteer to a greater angle thanthe outside wheel- improvinghandling.
The UltraStrut features a wide rangeof adjustment to meet therequirements of the vastmajority of vehicles;however, if your applicationrequires, each strut can bere-valved to a differentrange of adjustment. TheStrange double adjustablestrut was developed withWarren and Kurt Johnson. Thedouble adjustable strutpermits the ultimate in finetuning the front suspension.Hypercoil springs areincluded with every UltraStrut package. Hypercoilsprings are ideal for takingadvantage of lighter springrates- without the risk ofcoil bind and/or overstressing the spring.
