Transmission Kit TH400 to SB Ford TCI Super StreetFighter Transmissions bridge the gap between the TCI StreetFighter series and full competition transmissions. This version (Part# 211005) is intended for normally aspirated vehicles powered by engines producing up to 600 ft lbs of torque. Features & Benefits: Extreme performance clutches and nitrided steel plates for enhanced performance. Extra-wide powerbands, where available, provide greater torque capacity, and more positive shifts and band apply Larger diameter servos increase band pressure which means more force on flex bands New sprags/roller clutches, enhanced hard parts and improved lubrication. Includes a chrome-plated transmission pan with embossed TCI Increased thrust capacity and higher line pressure for extra firm shifts & greater torque capacity with less slippage Like the StreetFighter units, these are equipped with 100 percent tested, manual/automatic valve bodies. That means that most units allow you to manually shift the vehicle into each gear change or, by placing it in the drive position, remain fully automatic. In either mode, you get a racetrack shift that bangs through the gears and shaves time off your ETs. When you use the manual gear selection feature, the Super StreetFighters upshift and downshift right when you move the lever, with no lag or governor override. When you select the normal drive position, the transmissions retain positive automatic shifts, for the ease of driving you look for in an automatic transmission. SFI Bellhousing Using the latest technology, RTS has come up with these Aluminium bellhousings. These Bellhousings are Certified flexplate shields and allow for special motor and transmission combinations to be easily mated together. RTS Bellhousings are manufactured from one-piece cast aluminium, making them 5 times stronger than stock bellhousings. They are capable of withstanding even the most severe tire shake, can fit under most stock floorboards.Meets all SFI 30.1 requirements.
