Transgold Rear Upper Control Arm Bush Kit Fits Ford Mondeo, Volvo S60, S80, XC60, V60, V70, Land Rover Freelander 2

Bushes are used to provide a cushioning interface between suspension and steering components. They need to be flexible enough to allow for movement but robust enough to stabilise the engine, absorb vibration and keep wear and tear to a minimum. Centre bearings are used with centre mounts on longer drive shafts for free rotation. Given the weight of the engine, bushings and centre bearings do wear and as a general rule, they may need replacing at least every 80,000 kilometres - sooner if the vehicle frequently covers rough terrain.
