Tridon Flasher units are designed to control the flash rate of vehicle directional indicators; this is achieved by providing regular interruption of the electric current in the indicator circuit. There are 3 common styles of flasher units; electro-mechanical and electronic and thermal. Tridon offers an extensive range of flasher units in load sensitive and non load sensitive types. Electro Mechanical flasher units are non polarised and non load sensitive, thersfore do not conform to ADR13, they are only suitable for vehicles manufactured prior to 1990. The flasher unit must be compatible with the vehicle electrical system; the Tridon flasher unit range has been carefully researched and engineered to suit each specific application.
