Wilwood GM III brake calipers are the most rigid, high-torque, lightweight aluminum calipers in their class. They feature a triple-bridge configuration, which provides a tremendous increase in clamping force over twin-bridge calipers. Each caliper model has its own unique casting, and any material that did not contribute strength was eliminated for weight reduction, resulting in calipers that weigh just over 3 lbs. The GM III calipers incorporate standard Wilwood features like stainless steel pistons for increased fluid protection and high-temperature seals for controlled retraction, which improves driver feel.
