Crane's Rocker Arm BridgeShim Kit will correct forexcessive hydraulic lifterpreload on late model AmericanMotors V-8's, and I-6's,Oldsmobile V-8's andAustralian V-8's with thebridge mounted rocker armassemblies. This kit will alsowork on the later modelPontiac 151 I-4's withshoulder bolt mounted rockerarms. Two different thicknessshims are included to decreaselifter preload byapproximately .030",.060" or .090"depending on the combinationof shims being used betweenthe bridge and the cylinderhead. Excessive preload may becaused by a camshaft change,valve job, head resurfacing,etc. These shims can be aquick and easy alternative toresorting to different lengthpushrods.
