Crane's Rocker Arm PedestalShim Kit is for use on Fordengines utilizingnon-adjustable pedestalmounted rocker arms. Thehydraulic lifters in theseengines may have excessivepreload due to a camshaftchange, valve job, headresurfacing, etc. To cure thisproblem without resorting todifferent pushrods, we offerthis pedestal shim kitcontaining two differentthickness shims. These shimsare placed between the rockerarm pedestal and the cylinderhead, and will reduce thepreload by approximately.030", .060", or.090". These will fitthe Ford V-8, 255-302,302 H.O., 351W, 351C, 351M,400, and 370-429-460engines.
